Since CCEL is a tuition and fee supported school, and does not receive any federal, state or local grant assistance, (with the exception of Covid19 Grant award, see below).
Montana State Coronavirus Relief Fund Social Services Nonprofit Grant

Tuition income does not cover the operating expenses.

Fundraiser income helps us continue to offer lower tuition rates with our sliding scale fee and supports the continuation of the educational program. Our major fundraiser is the cotton candy/snow cone booth.  We also participate in the Box Tops for Education program.

We  welcome any fundraiser volunteers!

 Box Tops for Education

Box Tops for Education is no longer collecting snail mail box tops.  You can now scan the receipt you purchased your items with that have the box top logo on them using the Box Top for Education App., and they will automatically be applied to the school of your choice.  Just search for Champion’s Choice for Early Learning on the App at the appropriate time.

Montana State Coronavirus Relief Fund Social Services Nonprofit Grant: Champion’s Choice for Early Learning received an award in 2020 from the Montana State Coronavirus Relief Funding Social Services Nonprofit Grant. This was very helpful because we were not able to participate in our usual fundraisers with the cotton candy booth. The first award was for $10,000.  The second round award of $2,089.00.  This money was to offset wages and operating expenses incurred from March 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020 that were reduced due to Covid19, and allowed us to continue to operate and retain our experienced employees, even though student numbers were unstable.  The State required a final report that was submitted to verify the funds were used in the manner required.  A copy of the report can be obtained by request in writing to Champion’s Choice, Attn: Board Chairman, 208 Central Ave., Eureka, MT 59917.  (Special note:  The State made an error in the second round deposit with an overpayment of $18,809.00, which was returned on January 5, 2021.)
